Propane

Commercial and refrigerant grade propane.

C₃H₈ CAS 74-98-6 Hydrocarbons

01 Overview

Propane is traded as a fuel gas, as a petrochemical cracker and PDH feedstock, and at high purity as refrigerant R290. Its low boiling point makes it the preferred LPG component in cold-climate markets where butane would not vaporise reliably.
