Group II Base Oil
API Group II Base Oil

Hydroprocessed Group II base stock with low sulfur and high saturates.

01 Overview

Group II base oils are produced by hydrocracking rather than solvent extraction, delivering saturates above 90 %, sulfur below 300 ppm and markedly better oxidation stability than Group I. They are the minimum requirement for modern API service category engine oils.
