Caustic Soda
Sodium Hydroxide
Caustic soda flakes, pearls and 50 % liquid solution.
01 Overview
Caustic soda is a foundational industrial alkali consumed across pulp and paper, textiles, alumina refining, soap and detergent manufacture, and water treatment. It is traded in solid form — flakes or pearls at 98–99 % — and as a 50 % aqueous solution where the destination has bulk handling capability.

07 Supply & export note
Caustic soda is strongly hygroscopic and will absorb moisture and carbon dioxide through inadequate packing. We specify sealed inner-liner bags for all sea freight and advise against unlined packing regardless of cost saving. Hazard documentation is prepared for every consignment.
