01 Overview
Glacial acetic acid is a primary chemical intermediate feeding vinyl acetate monomer, purified terephthalic acid, acetate esters and cellulose acetate production, with substantial secondary demand from textile processing and, at food grade, from the food industry.

These figures are approximate and differ slightly between producers. The binding numbers are the ones on the certificate of analysis for your actual shipment, which we send with every quotation.

Acetic acid solidifies below 16 °C, which makes winter movement into cold destinations an operational problem rather than a quality one. We plan the packing and routing around ambient temperature at both ends and advise on heating requirements at discharge.
