PET
Polyethylene Terephthalate
Bottle and fibre grade PET resin supplied by intrinsic viscosity band.
01 Overview
PET is bought on intrinsic viscosity: bottle-grade material sits in the 0.76–0.84 dl/g band, while fibre and film grades run lower. Acetaldehyde content is the second critical parameter for water and beverage applications, where residual AA carries directly into taste.
02 Grades traded

07 Supply & export note
Bottle-grade PET is supplied with the producer’s IV, AA and colour certificate. Because PET is hygroscopic, we specify moisture-barrier packing on all sea movements and confirm the container liner arrangement before loading.
